Omkareshwar Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to God Shiva. It is one of the 12 Shiva Jyotirlingas. It is on an island called Mandhata or Shivpuri in the Narmada river at Khandwa district in Madhya Pradesh, India; the shape of the island is said to be like the Devanagari ॐ symbol.

Somnath Temple is situated at ‘Prabhas Kshetra’ near in Saurashtra in the state of Gujarat on the Arabian Sea. This is one of the oldest pilgrimage centres in India and finds mention in the ancient books, like Shivpuran, Skandpuran and Shreemad Bhagvat.
